I am passionate about helping community-based youth sports programs thrive. These organizations play a critical role in the lives of kids, families, and entire communities. I also know firsthand how challenging it can be to raise the funds needed to support them.
My journey started when my son was eight years old. I was not a coach, but I wanted to contribute. I began attending board meetings and quickly realized that while these leagues were full of dedicated volunteers and great ideas, they often lacked the financial resources to bring those ideas to life. That is where I decided to step in and help with sponsorships.
At the time, the league was raising between eleven and fifteen thousand dollars per year. By building relationships with local businesses and simplifying the sponsorship process, we grew that number to forty five thousand dollars annually and secured more than ninety sponsors. As word spread, other leagues began reaching out for advice. I shared what I had learned, but many struggled to replicate the results because they lacked the time, volunteers, or systems to support a strong sponsorship program.
That experience made one thing clear. There had to be a better way.
As my children aged out of Little League, I focused on creating a scalable and easy-to-use solution that could help leagues build and sustain sponsorship programs without adding more work for volunteers. I tested many approaches and technologies, but most existing tools were too rigid, too expensive, or simply not designed for nonprofit organizations. That led me to build Sponsor Helper.
Sponsor Helper is designed to help youth organizations start strong and grow with confidence. Organizations begin at no cost, building a solid sponsorship foundation, and then add structure and support over time as their needs evolve. The goal is simple. Make it easier for local businesses to support youth sports while keeping as much money as possible in the league.
At its core, Sponsor Helper exists to reduce volunteer workload, create consistency year after year, and ensure sponsorship programs do not disappear when leadership changes. It is about building systems that last.
When I am not working on Sponsor Helper, I am spending time with my wife and three kids in Pennsylvania. I enjoy all sports, but baseball and softball will always hold a special place for me.
If you would like to talk about your league or explore ways to strengthen your sponsorship program, I would be happy to connect or you can get started on your account today.
