At Boyertown Optimist Softball, our goal is to provide an environment where young athletes can learn the fundamentals of playing organized youth softball. We encourage our players to have fun while developing the values of teamwork, leadership, and discipline. Our league is recreational in nature, but we have recently started a competitive team.

As a not-for-profit organization run solely by dedicated volunteers, we work hard to provide the best experience we can for our players and their families. Our facilities are located at Boyertown Middle School East and were built in 1996. The decades have taken a toll on our softball complex, and we are in need of a complete overhaul. In Spring 2025 we raised over $11,000 and made two of our four fields playable for the Fall 2025 season. But we have a long way to go!

We estimate our total renovation project to cost $500,000. This is a multi-year project which includes rehabilitation of the remaining two infields, as well as the addition of dugouts, outfield fencing, bleachers, scoreboards, and an updated concession stand with running water and bathrooms.

Any improvements we make will benefit the Boyertown Middle School Softball Program as well as Boyertown Optimist Softball. We want to bring softball back to Boyertown and show the girls that they matter to the community!
