Another Way to Recognize Your Sponsors

In case you forgot, I am the guy who is passionate about helping non-profit youth leagues and organizations raise more money through sponsorships! (@sponsorhelper on socials) Ever since I created SPONSOR HELPER, I’ve been constantly tweaking how I recognize sponsors for their contributions to the community. A few of my go-to methods include posting thank-yous on the League’s social media accounts, sharing on LinkedIn (since many professionals cross-post to Facebook and Instagram), and highlighting sponsors on SPONSOR HELPER’s own pages. I even drop posts into local community groups where residents are most likely to see them.
While these methods have worked well and gotten sponsors some recognition, I knew I could do more. This spring, I started something new with our local baseball and softball banner sponsors: I took straight-on photos of each individual banner and paired them with a personal Google Review. The results were incredible. Only 15 reviews posted, and I already have over 8,000 views generated. WOW!
Pro Tip: Always snap a straight-on photo of each individual banner. Sponsors often forget what their banner looks like, want to double-check branding, or have questions about placement. Having a clear photo on hand saves time, avoids back-and-forth delays, and prevents unnecessary trips back to the field just to grab a picture.
I’ll be posting the rest of the reviews with pics of each banner over the next few weeks, and I know the sponsors are going to love the extra visibility. I wanted to share this update in case it sparks some ideas for you in your own sponsorship journey.
I also invite you to check out the amazing things I’m building with SPONSOR HELPER. Even as a one-person shop, I’ve been able to make a real impact in communities that are using this free platform, and I couldn’t be prouder. Who knows, maybe one day SPONSOR HELPER will be the SignUpGenius of sponsorships. I’d love for you to be here from the beginning.
My vision is simple: eventually, SPONSOR HELPER will be the go-to platform that nonprofits can’t live without. And I’m here for every step of that journey along side of you.
So ditch the paper forms, do less work, and spend less time chasing sponsorships. Sound good? Get started today—or share this with the person in your organization who handles sponsorships.
